About Houdini
*In foster care in Canterbury, Sydney*
Equal parts sweet, silly and affectionate, tiny kitten Houdini is larger than life!
This gorgeous boy loves spending time with his favourite humans and makes sure you’re never alone at home - whether he's hanging out with you on the couch, standing between your feet in the kitchen or accompanying you to the bathroom.
He’s a tiny adventurer who's always seeking new heights to explore and blankets to bury under :)
He’s aptly named too - almost completely silent, and seeming to 'disappear' into his secret spots!
Houdini is working on getting better at meeting strangers, but he's a loyal little lovebug with his trusted humans and he gets along well with other playful (or patient) cats. Gentle children of school age might be a good match too!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Houdini is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: In a nutshell, I like to be around people! I don’t need to be on your lap but I do insist on being close by. A human who's retired or works from home would be an amazing companion for me - but if you're out quite a bit that's fine too, as long as I've got lots of toys, tunnels and towers to keep me occupied. And I'd love another cat or two around to bond with!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! But don't be fooled by my madcap zoomies and mischief making - I'm a huge fan of snoozing as well. Gotta recharge!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I haven’t met any children yet, I'm likely to enjoy the company of gentle kids aged 5+ who'll play with me while respecting my boundaries.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Fantastic for cats - ideally friendly and playful ones who'll join in on my games, or tolerant older ones who don't mind me climbing all over them :)
I don't have any experience with dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
