About Marcel
🐾 Meet Marcel — looking for his forever family 🏡❤️
Marcel is a gorgeous 10-month-old brindle Mastiff x who has been absolutely winning our hearts and is now ready to find his forever family!
Marcel is a big, goofy, affectionate pup with a wonderful personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being around his people, is playful, funny and always up for a good cuddle.
One of Marcel’s most beautiful qualities is how gentle and patient he is with children. He has such a lovely nature around kids and is very happy being part of family life. He has loved spending time jumping on our trampoline and chasing — or should I say being sprayed by — our 3-year-old with the garden hose! 😂
Marcel has come such a long way during his time in foster care. He has been desexed and is now fully toilet trained. He sits patiently for his food and has learnt the commands sit and lie down. He is still working on his recall when out adventuring, but he knows that coming back means treats! 🦴
He’s been learning all about being a well-mannered family dog and is continuing to grow in confidence every day.
Marcel is still young and has plenty of puppy energy, so he’ll need a family who can give him exercise, enrichment, consistency and, most importantly, lots of love.
He can become excited and vocal when he sees other dogs and is still learning how to calmly greet and interact with them. His new family will need to be committed to continuing his training and helping him build positive experiences around other dogs, just as he has been doing with our dog.
Marcel would thrive with a family looking for a loving, playful and loyal companion who is willing to continue supporting him through his training and help him become the amazing dog he is destined to be.
He has so much love to give and has already shown us just how special he is! 🫶
