About Cider
*In foster care in Surry Hills, Sydney*
A gorgeous cuddle buddy, Cider is a playful and affectionate ginger fellow on the lookout for love! After being rescued from a hoarding situation along with 20 other cats, Cider was always a standout cat - front and centre and immediately looking for love and affection.
His favourite activities include chasing and tussling with his brother Caesar, attacking wand toys with furry fury, and trotting around happily with small toys in his mouth. And when evening comes his softer side comes out with it! Get ready for non-stop head bumps and lap snuggles as you unwind from your day :)
In a purrfect world I'd be adopted alongside my brother - we keep each other entertained and we tend to play, eat, groom and sleep as a pair. We're also super cute together, especially when we give each other nose kisses :) See his Profile here! https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1210848
But if that's not possible I'd definitely appreciate another cat at home to bond with. I enjoy feline company almost as much as human!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Cider is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated. He has also recently had a dental and is FIV and FeLV negative.

MY IDEAL HOME: If you're a cat-loving single person, couple or family (I'm easy!) who'll spend time playing with me in the evenings, then let me curl up on a warm lap while you read, scroll or watch TV, you sound wonderful to me!
I'm not fazed by visitors, and while I haven't met any children yet I think I'd enjoy their vibe.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I *love* to play, whether with humans, my brother or on my own! Mornings and evenings are my most active times, with long stretches of snoozing in between and cuddles before bed :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I'd do well in a family home with kids who'll treat me kindly and play with me. I can get a bit boisterous when I'm excited so smaller children should always be supervised.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great with cats - more specifically, with my brother! I adore having a pal to do life with. If you're not able to adopt me and Caesar as a duo, I'd be thrilled to make friends with your resident cats. See Ceasar's profile here https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1210848
Dogs no thanks :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
