🌙 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 𝐈𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑! 🌙

Sweet Luna has been with Raffy’s Wild Hearts since she was just approximately 4/5 months old — and her story is one we will never forget. 💔

Luna was found at a colony in Mansfield Park with a dislocated leg, terrible diarrhoea and, unbeknownst to us at the time, she was in the early stages of pregnancy.

Once we finally caught her, she was rushed straight to an emergency vet. But then we were faced with something we had never encountered before — because Luna was injured, we were told she was deemed council property and we were not permitted to take her. 😢

We were also informed that council had requested she be euthanised.

Luna was being judged before she had even been given a chance. 💔

I desperately contacted the CEO of the veterinary hospital, who investigated the situation. Thankfully, he was able to arrange for Luna to be signed over to me — but we had to get there within the hour.

I drove down there as fast as I possibly could (and honestly, nearly didn’t make it! 😅), but I got our girl safe. ❤️

Luna sadly miscarried due to the immense stress and anaesthetic required for her leg. Her leg was repaired, and today she is a happy, healthy girl who has come such a long way. 🥹

Now approximately 11 months old, Luna is ready to find her forever family. 🏡💗

Luna is a timid girl and will need someone who understands that trust takes time. She has recently discovered that she LOVES pats when her human is sitting down — and bum scratches are absolutely the best! 😂🥰

She isn’t overly comfortable being picked up just yet, but that’s something we can continue working on together.

Her foster mum believes Luna will thrive best in a quiet home with fewer cats and no young children, where she can receive the one-on-one love and attention she is craving. She has so much love to give; she just needs someone patient enough to let her show it. ❤️
