About Shadow Slim Shady
Shadow Slim Shady came into care after he wandered into a supporter’s home, loudly announcing that he was absolutely starving and very much in need of a meal. Thankfully, he found the right house and is now safe, loved and ready to find a forever home where he will never have to worry about where his next meal is coming from.
Shadow is a stunning black Domestic Medium Hair with wonderfully soft fur, a magnificent fluffy tail, adorable mutton-chop sideburns and gorgeous golden eyes. He is a handsome, long and lean boy with a huge personality and an even bigger appetite. He is extremely affectionate and people-friendly, loves cuddles and pats, and genuinely enjoys being wherever his humans are. He is also a very capable hunter, so this gorgeous boy could make an excellent little rodent operative!
Shadow would love a home where he can be part of the family and spend plenty of time with his humans, preferably snuggling beside them on the couch or bed. He is selective with other cats and dogs, and any furry housemate would need to be respectful and not get in his face or pick fights. He is best suited to children over five. He is not bonded and would be very happy being the centre of his human's attention.
Shadow has a serious case of **FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!** and can become quite frantic around meals, sometimes gorging himself as though he is convinced he will never be fed again. With time and the security of knowing that food will always be available, this should hopefully settle. When stressed, particularly if he can smell urine from another cat, he may urinate in that area, so his new family will need to be mindful of this.
Despite these quirks, Shadow is an incredibly loving, friendly and affectionate boy who simply needs the security of knowing he is home for good. Once he realises he is never going to be dumped and left to fend for himself again, we think his food obsession will settle and this gorgeous fluffy-tailed smoocher will become the most wonderful companion.
Shadow is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #900141000966171, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
