About Benny
Meet Benny! Benny is a gentle, quiet and food-motivated cat who has made great progress in foster care. He enjoys an indoor lifestyle and the company of his people, but he isn't a traditional lap cat and prefers not to be picked up or have interactions forced. Benny communicates his boundaries clearly and is happiest when given choice, space and gentle interactions.
Benny would suit an understanding family who isn't looking for a cuddly cat, but would love the companionship of a cat who does things on his own terms. Food is the way to Benny's heart and he enjoys basic training, including coming when called. With patience, respect and plenty of positive reinforcement, Benny has the potential to build a lovely bond with his new family.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
