About Benny
Meet Benny! Benny is a gentle, quiet and food-motivated cat who has made good progress in foster care. He is not a traditional lap cat and prefers companionship without being picked up or having interactions forced. Benny communicates his boundaries clearly and is most comfortable when given choice, space and gentle interactions. His love of food provides an excellent way to build trust and continue positive interactions. He may be suited to a calm household that understands and respects his boundaries and preferences. He needs a very understanding family who are not looking for a cuddly cat but are willing to open there home to a cat that enjoys and indoor life style and some companionship. Benny will come when called and enjoys basic training.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
