Meet Bambi!

Bambi is a gorgeous, 1.5 year old American Staffy mix who is ready for a fresh start in life. She came to the shelter as a stray in a very malnourished condition, but after receiving plenty of love and care from the team here, she is ready to find her forever home. Beneath her resilient spirit is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than soaking up human attention.

Because Bambi is very playful and enthusiastic, she can get a bit jumpy as she is still learning her manners. For this reason, she will need to go to a home with secondary school aged children and above. She would thrive with an active family that can match her energy levels and is committed to continuing force-free training to help build her foundational skills and grow into her best self.

Bambi may be suitable to live with another well-matched dog depending on a successful meet and greet at the shelter. She would also benefit from ongoing gradual, positive introductions with unfamiliar dogs.

Bambi is going to make a loyal, fun-loving, and snuggly companion for the right people. If you'd like to meet her, come down to our North Melbourne location any time during our opening hours.

Please note: if you have a dog already or anyone under 18 in your household, they will need to have a meet and greet with Bambi before she can be adopted.
