Lilac

Meet lovely Lilac! Lilac is a gorgeous, 1 year old staffy mix who is ready to find her forever family. This sweet girl came to us as a stray, and after some much needed TLC from the team here at LDH, she is now looking for a stable place to call home. She is an affectionate little land seal who loves human interaction, and will be sure to make herself at home on your couch in no time.

Because Lilac is still a young and enthusiastic dog, she can get a bit jumpy and is still getting used to being handled, so she will need to go to a home with secondary school-aged children and above. She would greatly benefit from ongoing force-free training to help build her foundational skills, boost her confidence, and refine her manners.

Lilac has shown that she interacts nicely with other dogs, so she may be suitable to live with another well-matched pup, subject to a meet and greet at the shelter. On the medical side, she is a healthy girl with no current issues to worry about.

With patience, positive reinforcement, and love, Lilac is going to blossom into a loving, loyal companion. You can come and meet her at our North Melbourne location any time during our opening hours.

Please note: if you have another dog or any household members under 18, they will need to attend a meet and greet at the shelter in order to adopt.
