Meet Zigzag, a striking and high spirited ten month old German Shepherd who is bursting with potential and ready for her next big chapter.

Zigzag is currently working hand in paw with our dedicated behavior team, undergoing specialised behaviour modification to help her build great habits and ensure she can truly shine as her best self. Because she is still a bouncy youngster with a tendency to get jumpy and mouthy when excited, she will thrive in an adult only household or a home with teenagers aged sixteen and older, ensuring that smaller family members won't accidentally get knocked over.

As a smart and eager pup, Zigzag is exceptionally willing to learn, but she is ready to graduate from the shelter environment and find a dedicated family who can continue her education.

She will need a patient, consistent home that is committed to helping her master her impulse control through positive reinforcement training. Socially, Zigzag can do wonderfully with a well matched canine companion, provided they share a similar high energy level and can match each other's playful style during a careful introduction here at the shelter. When meeting new humans, Zigzag benefits from slow, structured, and positive introductions to help her feel completely secure and confident.
