About Your Little Puss?
Meet Little Puss, a beautiful 10-year-old female domestic short-haired cat with a mostly white coat, soft calico patches on her head and ears, a sweet pink nose, and bright, expressive eyes.
She has a gentle, rounded face and a calm presence that immediately draws you in.
Little Puss is confident and incredibly loving. She absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. Unlike most cats who need time to hide and adjust in a new environment, she adapted incredibly quickly to her foster home.
From her very first days she was curled up on the couch with her foster mum, clearly thrilled to have her family’s attention all to herself. She settled in as if she had always belonged there, seeking out company, soaking up pats, and showing just how much she values human closeness.
She came to us from a shelter in Ballarat. Staff there reached out because she was struggling in the busy, noisy environment, and we were fortunate to have a foster carer ready to welcome her. We were able to move her quickly out of the shelter and into a calm, loving home where she could finally relax and feel safe.
That early confidence and eagerness for connection have only grown since.
We don’t yet know how Little Puss would go in a home with other cats, dogs, or young noisy children, but one thing is certain: she looooooves people.
She would be well suited to any quiet household where she can receive plenty of gentle attention, soft couches to share, and the steady companionship of someone who will treasure her affectionate nature.
Little Puss is approximately 10 years old, has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is currently located with her amazing foster family in the Melbourne CBD.
If you are looking for a sweet, people-oriented girl who will curl up beside you, seek out your company, and fill your home with quiet devotion, Little Puss is ready to meet you. Please get in touch if you can offer her the peaceful, loving environment she deserves.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
