Asher was separated from the colony she was born in and went on a little adventure through the streets of Footscray, searching for her brother Loken after he disappeared a few weeks earlier. Her luck changed when she was rescued by the same caring household who had found her brother, and a few weeks later the siblings were finally reunited in foster care.

Asher is a beautiful black Domestic Short Hair with small, piercing eyes and an intriguing, mysterious air about her. She is a curious, playful and sweet little girl who is also gentle, sensitive, shy and a little timid. Asher is an introvert who likes to quietly take in the world around her before deciding whether she wants to participate.

Asher would suit a calm home with patient humans who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in and build confidence. She is good with other cats and particularly enjoys playing with her brother Loken, who is also available for adoption. While they aren't a bonded pair, having a friendly feline companion may be something Asher would really enjoy. She would suit children over 12 who understand that she may need some time to feel comfortable.

Asher is very food motivated and absolutely loves treats, which should be helpful when building a relationship with her. She also loves playing with Loken and has no known behavioural issues. Loud noises such as the vacuum cleaner aren't her favourite things, but otherwise she's a sweet and gentle little girl. Asher may be quiet and introverted, but there is a lovely little personality waiting to emerge as she learns that her humans can be trusted. To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
