Meet Dakota, our gorgeous almost-9-year-old American Staffordshire girl. Dakota is a gentle, sweet-natured older lady who is ready to leave shelter life behind and spend her golden years exactly as she deserves — cosy, comfortable and very, very spoilt.

Dakota is happiest when she’s curled up in a comfy bed, enjoying gentle walks, soaking up attention and receiving plenty of pats from her people. She’s not asking for a wild life of endless adventures; she’s looking for someone who appreciates the simple things and wants a loving companion by their side.

As an older girl, Dakota would love a home where she can settle into a predictable routine and enjoy a slower pace of life. A comfortable bed, leisurely walks, some sunshine, plenty of affection and a person who thinks she deserves the world would be right up her alley.

Dakota needs to be the only pet in the home. We’re looking for someone who understands that adopting an older dog is a beautiful commitment and is ready to give Dakota the patience, stability and care she deserves throughout her retirement years.
