Meet Sarge 💛
Isn’t Sarge just the most handsome boy you’ve ever seen?! 😍 Those gorgeous golden-orange eyes, beautiful brindle coat and one very cute floppy ear perfectly match his golden personality!
Sarge is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who is full of personality, fun and adventure. He’s an active boy who loves getting out and about and is fantastic with other dogs. In fact, he absolutely LOVES them!
But if you really want to make Sarge happy, bring out the ball! 🎾 He loves fetch and, surprisingly, he’s actually pretty good at bringing it back! 😂
Although… fetch has some serious competition because Sarge LOVES water! 💦 Swimming, splashing through puddles, finding random water wherever he goes, if there’s water nearby, Sarge will find it!
Sarge is:
🐾 Toilet trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Knows how to sit
🐾 Has good recall
🐾 Great with other dogs
🐾 Working on his leash walking
🐾 VERY enthusiastic about life!
His leash manners are coming along really well. He isn’t a crazy puller, but if he catches an especially interesting smell, he may need a gentle reminder that we’re actually going somewhere. 😆
And then there’s Sarge’s voice… 🎤😂
Sarge is a bit of a chatterbox! He loves to sing, talk to his humans and let you know when something exciting is happening. He’s not a dog who barks and howls all day, but when he’s excited, you’ll hear about it! He even likes to greet his people with a little song. ❤️
Sarge would love an active person or couple who wants a dog to genuinely be part of their everyday life. Walks, adventures, swimming, games of fetch and plenty of time together would be right up his alley.
Due to his happy, goofy and sometimes very enthusiastic personality, Sarge would be best suited to a home with no children under 8 years old. He’s not trying to cause chaos, he just gets a little too excited about life sometimes and could accidentally knock little ones over!
If you’re looking for a handsome, fun-loving, dog-friendly adventure buddy who will keep you entertained and probably find every body of water within a 5km radius… Sarge might just be your guy! 🐾💛
