About Beanie
Beanie blurb:

Beanie has a big personality and loves to be near his human friends. He forms strong attachment to his people and likes to be near and be part of family life.
He loves cuddles but also likes curling up on his bed or has a funny habit of cuddling shoes and falling asleep on them.
He gets on well with our older female dog but gets reactive with some big male dogs. He would be fine in a house with a female dog or small male or as the only dog. His playing can get a bit boisterous at times so a dog who doesn't like that would not be a good fit.
He's responding well to lead training and has good recall. He can get a bit overwhelmed on the lead sometimes but I find treats and waiting for whatever is stressing him out to pass helps. He still has some bad manners from his situation before being rescued, but is responsive to training and very clever.
He is a bit nippy especially when he gets excited so a house with no young children would be better. But he loves teenagers, especially girls!
He is not good with cats despite really trying to train him out of chasing our cat. Its not aggression but a very strong prey drive when she moves. He needs a cat free house. If it weren't for this we would have kept beanie.
He has lots of energy and he literally flies when he has the zoomies so an active household with 1 or 2 walks a day would be great. He loves the park and the beach and long sniffy walks.
Hes a lovely little dog and would be a great addition to the right family and give you lots of laughs and cuddles.
