About Scallop
Scallop is a confident and curious young puppy who is ready to explore the world! He loves meeting people, enjoys new experiences, and approaches life with enthusiasm and resilience. Highly food motivated and playful, Scallop will be a great little student for positive, reward-based training and plenty of enrichment.
Scallop would suit a loving family with gentle children, teens, or adults who can continue his socialisation, training, and development as he grows. He will need a secure yard, indoor access, and to be included as part of the family. A friendly cat or suitably matched dog may also be considered following a careful and successful meet and greet. Like all puppies, Scallop will benefit from consistent routines, gentle guidance, plenty of rest, and lots of positive experiences as he grows into a happy, well-rounded adult.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
