Meet Buddy, our bouncy, boisterous bull breed boy who was surrendered to GAWS through no fault of his own and is now looking for his forever home.

Buddy is an affectionate, playful and energetic boy who loves being involved with his people. He can, however, struggle with overexcitement and emotional regulation, so he is looking for an experienced owner who understands large breeds and is committed to helping him learn how to manage his big feelings.

Buddy is looking for a home without young children and would do best as the only dog at this stage. His ideal person will have experience with large-breed dogs and be willing to commit to positive-reinforcement manners training and socialisation. Buddy is strong and active, so he would love an owner who can include him in their activities while providing plenty of exercise, enrichment and opportunities to use his clever brain.

Buddy has also had a partial tail amputation, which certainly hasn't slowed this happy boy down! He has not been tested with cats, so his compatibility with feline friends is currently unknown. He is toilet trained and, underneath all that bouncy energy, is a loving boy who is ready to find someone who will give him the guidance, patience and commitment he needs to thrive.
