About Milo
Meet Milo, a remarkable Newfoundland-Poodle mix who embodies the charm of a giant teddy bear. This lovable fluffball is eagerly waiting to join a new family where he can shower you with affection and plenty of tail wags. Milo's excitement is palpable as he greets you with enthusiasm, and you might even catch him doing a little leap of joy when he sees you walk through the door.
Known for being a quick learner, Milo is food motivated and has already mastered commands like "sit" and "wait." He's a sociable chap who enjoys playing with other dogs, although due to his size, he might accidentally intimidate smaller dogs. Milo would be best in a home with another large canine companion to engage in fun-filled ball games and thrilling fetch sessions.
Despite his exuberant demeanor, Milo has a calm side, happy to relax and nap when left alone for moderate periods. However, he thrives on human companionship, so it's essential he isn't left alone for too long to prevent anxiety from creeping in. Secure yard space and a fixed outdoor shady area are crucial so that he can safely explore and enjoy his time outdoors. Due to his potential size and strength, Milo cannot be rehomed with young children, and it's important that any prospective adopter is physically able to handle him. Kids over 12 years of age could serve as wonderful playmates for him.
Milo hasn't been tested with cats, so care will need to be taken if attempting introduction. If you're seeking a charismatic and endearing companion who will fill your life with joy and laughter, Milo might be the ideal choice for your big-dog-loving home.
