About Brook
Hi! Meet Brook, a loving red and tan Kelpie girl with a gentle and sweet nature.
Brook is a clever and well-mannered girl who behaves beautifully in the house. She is crate trained, recalls to her name and sleeps soundly in her crate through the night. She walks well on leash, however will need continued guidance in new environments. Brook loves to play and be silly, she even gives cute little butt wiggles when she sees her humans. She has a great off-switch and is happy to take herself to bed when it's time to rest.
Brook can be a little nervous when meeting new people or in new situations, so she will need slow, gentle introductions and a little time to settle in. Once she feels comfortable she warms up quickly and her cheeky personality shines through.
Brook loves the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a friendly, well-matched doggy companion. A quieter home with older children (if any) would be best for Brook. She's happy to ignore chickens inside their run but will try to chase free-range chickens.
As a working breed dog, Brook will benefit from a family who understands the breed and can continue building her confidence through positive experiences, socialisation and plenty of mental and physical enrichment.
Brook may take a little time to come out of her shell, but once she trusts you, you'll have a sweet, loyal and fun-loving companion by your side.
If Brook sounds like the girl for you, please apply today!
Brook is located in TAS.
