About Jagger
Jagger came into care after being found injured outside his foster carer’s home. He was taken in, treated, and has since been enjoying life safely indoors where he has continued to recover and settle.
Jagger is a 1 year 3 month old Domestic Short Hair with a striking striped ginger coat and white chest and paws. He is a big, solid boy with a strong head and a long expressive tail, giving him a very confident and regal presence. Jagger has a quiet, good-natured personality, with a loyal and slightly reserved nature as he continues to build trust and confidence.
Jagger would suit a calm, adult-only home that understands cats who need time to feel safe and secure. He is not suited to busy or noisy environments and prefers predictability and gentle interaction. Jagger is not a fan of being picked up, but he does enjoy soft scritches behind the ears and full-body strokes when approached calmly and with clear signals.
Jagger is a truly special boy with a “mafia boss” charm—often found lounging in his pink cat bed with his paws and elbows out, looking completely at ease in his space. He is highly food-motivated and has likely not forgotten his time without reliable meals, so he appreciates routine feeding and reassurance. He can be defensive when startled and is still learning to fully trust humans again after his time on the streets, where he was also attacked by other cats. Jagger is FIV+, and may occasionally have a teary eye and will benefit from ongoing immune support. He is also not a fan of strangers or being rushed, but with patience he shows glimpses of affection and acceptance that make him incredibly rewarding to know. Jagger recently had a dental and is now feeling much more comfortable and healthy as a result. He is looking for a quiet, understanding home where he can finally relax and be safe—could that be you? Submit an application now and find out!
Jagger is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010008034439, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
