Shady is a special girl, who has had her world shattered. Her owner passed away suddenly and unexpectedly overnight, while she shared his bed and waited for him to wake.

She is a big girl, who is super friendly, social and very clingy. She loves a daily walk to help burn off any excess energy. She plays happily with her foster siblings, but needs careful supervision, as she is a dominant dog, and can get overly bossy.
She will need a strong handler to give her the guidance that she needs. Shady would be best suited as an only dog, with lots of social meetings with other dogs to get her used to all situations, as she does enjoy the company of other dogs.

Being a large and active girl, Shady would be best suited to a home with no small children. She is also not a fan a cats! She's an indoor/outdoor girl, with no overnight accidents. Shady is also a great watch dog, with a deep bark to scare away unwanted intruders.

This gorgeous girl needs someone special who has the time and patience to put into her. She enjoys being showered with love, and will return it ten-fold, being your shadow.
