Introducing Melvin, an 8-year-old Frenchie with a big personality, a serious love of squeaky toys and absolutely no interest in rushing into new friendships!

Melvin is your classic French Bulldog - sweet, stubborn, hilarious and very passionate about his toys. Give him a soft toy or a squeaky and he's a happy little man. Balls? Even better. He loves a good play session and will happily entertain himself with his favourite toys.

Melvin can be a little slow on the warm-up, so he's looking for people who understand that true friendship takes time. He may not be throwing himself into your arms on day one, but once he decides you're one of his people, you'll have a very sweet companion by your side.

Being an 8-year-old gentleman, Melvin does come with a few classic old-age quirks, but we think that just adds to his charm. He's looking for a home with primary school-aged children and would prefer to be the only dog, where he can enjoy being the centre of attention - as every Frenchie believes they deserve to be.

Melvin's new family will need to continue his handling and force free training, as well as helping him practice the very important skill of ignoring unfamiliar dogs. Because apparently not every dog needs to be his business.
