Adoption information
About Polly
Meet Poppy, an adorable little guinea pig looking for her forever home!
As a prey species, Poppy will need gentle handling and slow, calm interactions while she gets to know you and builds confidence.
Poppy will need a good-quality, species-appropriate diet to keep her healthy, as well as lots of enrichment to keep her curious, active and happy.
Her new family will also need to have her home fully set up and ready before an adoption, with a suitable enclosure, cozy hiding places and plenty of opportunities to explore and forage.
If you're ready to give Poppy the patience, care and loving home she deserves, she could be the perfect little companion for you!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
