Meet Twiggy, a beautiful one-year-old Kelpie with the softest heart.

Twiggy is a shy boy who is still learning that people, new places and the big wide world can be safe. He needs a quiet, patient home where he can take things at his own pace and slowly build his confidence. He can be cautious when it comes to handling and unfamiliar people, so gentle introductions, patience and lots of positive encouragement will help him learn to trust.

But underneath that shyness is the sweetest soul. Twiggy wants to learn. He wants to connect. And more than anything, he wants to be close to someone he can trust. Once he feels safe, you can see just how much love he has to give.

Twiggy would suit a calm home with secondary school-aged children and is comfortable around other dogs. He needs someone who will understand that his journey may take a little time, but who will also understand how incredibly special it is when a shy dog finally chooses to trust you.
