About Shelby
Hi hi!
My name is Shelby, and I am a beautiful black and tan kelpie girl. I am an energetic friendly girl who loves to be busy. I am always looking for something or someone to play with.
I am starting my basic training by learning how to sit. I am crate trained and sleep quietly in my crate overnight, generally waiting until I am let out in the morning to complete my toileting. I am very clever and need to continue my training in my new home with an experienced working breed owner. I need lots of mental stimulation too, so I stay interested and work my mind as well as my body.
In my foster home I have met so many new friends including young children, adults, older dogs, younger dogs, parrots and cats! There are also some funny birds called chickens and some pet goats, I am very interested in watching these guys, my foster mum says that’s understandable because both my parents were working dogs. I love playing with my siblings and getting lots of pats. I am very confident and always the first one out each morning leading the way for my siblings even though I am the smallest one here!
I would be best suited to an experienced, and active home. I am so clever and active that my foster mum says I would love to try some dog sports and obedience training to keep my mind active as well as my body.
If it sounds like I am the perfect fit for your home, please complete an application form. I can’t wait to hear from you!
Lots of licks

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
