About Milly
Milly is a 2 year old Kelpie x Border Collie who is an affectionate sweetheart.
Milly has had a tough start to life, without much socialisation, and is initially shy with both humans and dogs. Once you gain her trust and she’s sure of her environment, Milly reveals her true nature as a loving, cheeky girl who is eager to please and just wants to be your best pal.
In care, Milly has proven to be sociable and friendly with her foster dog pack, after slow and steady introductions. She has been introduced to the resident cat and they are now firm friends. She hasn’t been tested with poultry or livestock.
Milly is crate trained and sleeps beautifully through the night. She has a good level of basic training and is a quick and motivated learner. She is a smart girl and will need consistent boundaries and training as well as continued socialisation.
Milly enjoys the company of dogs and absolutely loves her humans! She is very affectionate, and although shy at first, once Milly realises she can trust you, you will have kisses and cuddles for life. Milly will want to be at the heart of the family unit. She is energetic and fun and will want to be included in all your adventures.
Despite her energy, Milly has a great off switch and will usually be found curled up asleep near her family or snuggled up with another dog (or cat).
If Milly sounds like a match for you, apply now!
Milly is located in VIC.
