About Izzy
♥Introducing Izzy♥
Izzy is a beautiful, gentle girl with a heart full of love. At almost 8years of age, she thrives on cuddles, food and walks — and not necessarily in that order. She adores playing fetch, although in her version of the game you do the fetching while she cheekily snatches the ball just as you reach for it.
Independence isn’t a problem for her — she’s happy to spend a few hours on her own — but her happiest place is always right beside you, whatever you’re doing. She loves car rides, is absolutely perfect with cats, prefers sleeping indoors, and is fully house trained. Izzy is great at meeting new people, she is likely best suited to a home with older children as her excitement to greet smaller humans may see them being toppled over!
Izzy has come a long way with her lead training. She can still be a bit unsure and reactive on lead when she sees another dog nearby, so continued guidance and patience in this area will be required. For this reason we are only considering homes in rural locations, where Izzy can spend her retirement years and be less worried about other dogs on daily walks. She is not suited to busy, high traffic dog areas in the suburbs and will thrive in a quiet country life. While Izzy is happy to have other dogs around her off lead, we feel she would best suit a solo dog home where all the cuddles are for her alone!
If you’re looking for a loyal, devoted dog who will be your shadow and your best mate, Izzy is the one for you.
Izzy is located in VIC.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
