About Dale ๐
Dale is a confident, chatty little social butterfly who firmly believes that whatever youโre doing, he should be involved too. Whether youโre relaxing on the couch, pottering around the house or even just washing your hands, you can expect Dale to be nearby supervising proceedings!
There isnโt a shy bone in this boyโs body. Dale loves people, happily makes friends with everyone he meets and is incredibly affectionate and snuggly. Heโs the kind of cat who brings plenty of personality into a home and will quickly make himself part of the family.
When he isnโt busy soaking up attention, Dale loves to play. He has been tested with a friendly resident dog and has done wonderfully, happily interacting and even play-fighting with his canine foster sibling. With appropriate introductions, we think he could be a great addition to a home with a friendly, cat-social dog.
Dale also shares a beautiful bond with his brother, Doug. The boys can regularly be found curled up sleeping together or tearing around the house playing. While they can be adopted separately, Dale and Doug are also available for adoption together as a pair.
Whether adopted alongside Doug, into a home with a friendly resident dog, or as a much-loved solo cat with plenty of human company, Dale is ready to bring affection, entertainment and a whole lot of character to his new family.
And we simply canโt finish without mentioning that magnificent big smoky tail โ it might just be his best feature!

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Hereโs how our adoption process works:
Submit an application โ This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat โ If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet โ Youโll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees itโs a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment โ Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
Weโre committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isnโt in the best interest of the animal.
