About Portia
Portia is a shy girl who likes to observe - from her designated distance. But you will find, as she gets more comfortable, that distance will get closer and closer.
As she settles in you will notice she’ll start to get chatty at meal times. Even asking for head scritches before she tucks in. But the most magical moment will be the first time she surprises you by hopping on the bed and softly squeaking for pats!!
Now this is not to say she doesn’t still appreciate her space. She approves of
designated touch in designated areas of the home. But she will let you in and ask you for love and comfort in her own way.. and on her own terms.
Portia would love a furever home with another confident cat she can continue
learning the ropes from. She quite likes a snooze on a comfy blanket in a sunny spot
with a friend.
Portia’s perfect home will show her patience and understanding while she settles in. She is a cat with boundaries, but she will redraw those boundaries each time she reaches a new comfort level… and honestly the pride and joy you feel each time a cat like Portia let’s you in a little bit more, cannot be matched.

All adoptions incld 1 Free Vet Appointment at Mont Albert Vet or Canterbury Vet (Valued at $155) and or 50% off Dental Procedure *only if needed*
(Voucher Required -Please Ask for This once you have successfully adopted a pet from us)
We have a mandatory house inspection
Shortlisted adopters will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet with the animal. **Depending on our foster's availability
We do follow-ups throughout the life of the animal
In the event that you are unable to care for the animal anymore, you must contact us to seek verbal advice
Some animals will require mandatory enrollment to professional training/behaviorist - this will be noted on the animal's profile & adoption agreement, we will require proof of enrollment before we are able to complete the adoption process/transfer of ownership
