Marmalade is an affectionate little gentleman who takes his job as household security very seriously. His preferred guard post? Right beside your feet.

Once he's comfortable, Marmalade loves being close to his people. He's a big fan of snuggles and will happily settle beside you on the sofa or armchair, keeping watch while you relax. He also likes wandering around your feet to say hello, usually accompanied by what his foster carer describes as "the most gorgeous meow."

There's plenty of playful energy underneath that cuddly side too. Marmalade loves a good play session and settled beautifully into a daily routine during foster care. When it's time to slow things down, he enjoys head scratches and chin rubs, and you may even catch those little paws making biscuits when he's feeling particularly content.

Marmalade seems to have a lovely balance. He can play, chat, cuddle, and simply enjoy being nearby without needing to be the centre of attention every second. Give him a little time to settle in, and you may soon find yourself with a very devoted orange shadow following your feet around the house.
