About Bread
Bread is a big, beautiful gentle giant with an easygoing nature and a whole lot of love to give. This sweet boy is wonderfully chilled out and seems happiest simply being wherever his people are.
An affectionate cuddle bug, Bread absolutely loves attention and will happily dish out plenty of head bunts in return. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t need to be the centre of attention, he’s perfectly content curling up beside you and keeping you company while you go about your day.
Bread isn’t particularly fussed about toys or endless playtime. His favourite pastime is simply being with his humans, making him a lovely match for someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion rather than a high-energy whirlwind.
Bread has also been tested with other cats and has shown himself to be cat-friendly and cat-social. He would be equally happy as a solo cat, lapping up all the love and attention for himself, or joining a home with friendly resident cats for some feline companionship.
With his relaxed personality, gentle nature and love of a good cuddle, Bread is the perfect combination of big boy and big softie. He’s looking for a home where he can settle in, soak up plenty of affection and become someone’s very best couch companion.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
