Adoption information
About Freya
Freya is a very affectionate and intelligent kitten, a classic tortoiseshell and often headstrong as torties tend to be. She is a glutton for petting and will nuzzle for minutes at a time. When she wants to be petted she will lift her cheek for a cheek-rub. She is playful and very inquisitive. She loves to play outside but is equally happy inside. Loves cardboard boxes. Her mother was an abandoned house cat who was rescued with her two siblings when she was a month old. Mother is a cheeky tuxedo cat, father a neighbourhood ginger tabby.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We work closely with the City of Greater Dandenong to rehabilitate feral and stray cats within our community. Without services like ours there to help, many of these cats would likely be euthanised.
Our kitties are given all of the love and attention they deserve. We tend to their medical needs and get them used to human and animal interaction to prepare them for their purrever homes. We put a lot of effort into making sure our furbabies are healthy, happy and ready for adoption. In doing this work, we hope to help reduce the number of feral, stray and abandoned cats in our municipality. If you're looking for a smoochie, sweet addition to your family and are interested in supporting a small, local cat rescue, please contact us at felineandfriends@optusnet.com.au.
