About Penelope
Penelope is a kitten who has grown up in a home with a lot going on. There are kids, lots of other foster cats, a dog and people coming and going all the time. And if there's one thing she's learned from all this, it's that if you have the good spot by the heater, none of that is worth moving for!
The dog can be going mental - she barely blinks. Her siblings are chasing each other around like mad things - she might watch to see who wins. If the kids scoop her up to carry her around - that's fine with her.
Of all the kittens in her litter, she is the one most comfortable on her own. It's not unusual to find she has taken herself off somewhere and is avoiding all their chaos. But she's equally happy to hang out with them and join in their games when she feels like it.
She likes the company of the humans in the house, but if for whatever strange reason there's no-one around, she's not bothered. She's really fine with anything.
So basically she's pretty easy to please. She'd like a warm spot in winter, and maybe a sunny window to sit at, and it's really all she asks for. Whatever else, she'll roll with it.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Had cat flu on arrival, but that is all cleared up now.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via

2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
