Yamal is a lively, happy little guy with a huge amount of personality packed into a small package. Super friendly, affectionate and confident, he loves being involved in whatever his humans and doggy friends are doing.

Yamal is a playful boy who absolutely loves having other dogs around. Playing with his foster brothers is one of his favourite parts of the day, and we think he would thrive in a home with another friendly, playful dog to share his life with.

When he’s not busy playing, Yamal is all about his people. He loves affection and is particularly fond of snuggling up in bed — preferably under the covers with his humans! He’s a social little guy who would love a family that wants their dog to genuinely be part of everyday life.

Out and about, Yamal is confident and curious. He enjoys exploring new places, happily engages with people and would make a great little companion for weekend adventures. He also travels well in the car, settling quickly to either lie down or watch the world go by through the window.

Yamal is very food motivated and certainly appreciates his meals and snacks, which will be a great tool for continuing his training. His toilet training is still a work in progress, but he has already been making good improvements while in foster care.

Like many lively young dogs, Yamal can sometimes find his own entertainment when left alone and may chew things he shouldn’t. His new family will need to continue working on this by providing appropriate enrichment, toys and boundaries while he settles into his new routine.

Yamal reflects the energy that is given! If you want a crazy dog that jumps up into your arms like a circus trick, in your arms he will be! This is the same with children!
Yamal is social with children, although his excitement can sometimes get the better of him and he can become a little mouthy during play. The moment you say ahh he stops in his tracks, even if the kids keep going. He would therefore suit children who are comfortable around dogs and can interact and play with him confidently and with parents that can read dog behaviour.

Yamal’s ideal home will be one where he gets plenty of companionship, play and involvement in family life. Another friendly dog would be a wonderful bonus, along with humans who want to take him along on their adventures and then finish the day with a little dog curled up under the blankets.

He is not just a lap dog! This boy has sooo much life and love to give! Friendly, playful, affectionate and full of life, Yamal is ready to find a family who will make him part of their crew.
