Meet Lychee!

Lychee is a gorgeous young Kelpie girl with the most unique coat colouring, she’s definitely a standout from your usual Kelpie markings! At just 16kg, she’s a lovely smaller-sized girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for her people.

Lychee is a happy, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than claiming a spot on the lounge and sharing her space with you. She bonds quickly with her people and really enjoys simply being part of the household.

She currently lives with other dogs and loves to run, chase and play with her housemates. Her favourite games involve plenty of typical Kelpie-style mouthy play and chasing!

Lychee is also good at communicating when she’s had enough. If another dog is too full-on or she’s not comfortable with an interaction, she may give a small warning nip to advocate for her space, but that’s as far as she takes it. For this reason, she isn’t a girl who would enjoy busy dog parks or being expected to socialise with every dog she meets.

Her ideal home would have another medium-energy, socially respectful dog who will give her the space and time she needs to build a friendship. Once she’s comfortable, she loves having a canine mate to play and hang out with. She would also be fine as an only dog.

Out and about, Lychee is friendly meeting people, walks well on lead and travels nicely in the car. She would make a fantastic adventure buddy for a family who enjoys bush walks, exploring and getting outdoors together.

At home, she has a great off-switch. She is medium energy, sleeps through the night and is very happy to settle on the lounge and enjoy the company of her people once the adventures are done.

Lychee is looking for a home that understands she doesn’t need to be a social butterfly with every dog she meets. Give her a respectful doggy bestie, some adventures, a comfy lounge and people to bond with, and she’ll be one very happy girl.
