Meet Birdie – Queen of the Castle!
Beautiful Birdie is the kind of cat who turns heads wherever she goes. With a coat as soft as satin, a gorgeous face and the most wonderfully swishy tail that seems to have a mind of its own, she certainly knows how to make an impression! In fact, she wags it with such enthusiasm, you could almost mistake her for a playful little dog!
Birdie has been waiting to be adopted for far too long. Time and time again, she has watched other cats find their forever homes while she has been overlooked through no fault of her own. But Birdie hasn’t given up hope. She’s still patiently waiting for that special person who will see just how amazing she truly is.
Birdie can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but give her some time and she’ll soon warm up. Once she trusts you, she loves spending time nearby and enjoys the company of her favourite people while still keeping her independence. She isn’t the kind of cat who needs constant attention and is perfectly content doing her own thing.
She’d love a quiet adult home where she can be the only cat and queen of her castle. She may be willing to share her kingdom with a small, friendly dog who respects her boundaries and understands that Birdie is very much in charge!
Birdie has been waiting long enough. She deserves to finally be someone’s first choice and to have a forever home where her beauty, quirks and sweet personality can truly shine.

Many of our animals are extremely popular and we receive a high volume of applications. We review each submission carefully and will only consider those who complete the application form by following the external link.

Before applying we ask that you are aware of the following:
** Ollie's Legacy is located in Bendigo, Central Victoria (approx 2 hours from Melbourne CBD)
** We are unable to place holds on our kittens. This means that you are unable to adopt your new family member within 7 days, please do not apply until you are ready.
** The majority of our correspondence is through email. We have a very small team of volunteers and it is impossible to contact everyone via phone calls. Please keep an eye on your “junk’ folder so you don’t miss any notifications.
If your application is successful you will be asked to attend a Meet and Greet.
