About Bertie
🐾 💙 Meet Bertie- sweet + fun loving!!
Bertie is an adorable 1-year-old Malchi x Shih Tzu with a big personality packed into a small, yet sturdy little body!
Outgoing, friendly and full of fun, Bertie is the sort of chap who makes friends wherever he goes. He loves children, enjoys the company of other dogs and is happiest when he’s included in whatever adventure is happening around him.
He’s an active little guy who loves walking, chasing a ball, exploring and meeting new friends. If you’re someone who enjoys getting out and about with your dog, Bertie would make a wonderful companion — and he’d be particularly well suited to someone who loves a regular trip to the local dog park. 🐾
Bertie is also an intelligent boy who learns quickly and should be a joy to train. He’d thrive with someone who enjoys teaching tricks, practising obedience or simply likes routines.
He’s confident and self-assured, although he can be a little timid initially around men. Otherwise, Bertie takes new experiences in his stride and has a naturally friendly, easy-going nature.
And while he loves his adventures, Bertie also has a lovely affectionate side. Once he’s had his fun, he’s very happy to come home, settle in and enjoy some cuddles with his people- he’s quite the sweetheart. ❤️
Bertie is used to living both indoors and outdoors, but what he really wants is to be part of the family. A home where someone is around for much of the day would suit him particularly well, as he loves companionship and benefits from plenty of interaction and stimulation.
At just 5kg, Bertie is small enough to take almost anywhere, but he’s certainly not short on confidence, character or enthusiasm for life!
