💛 Jaz's Personality:
Jaz is a Bull Arab x American Staffie, roughly 2 years old and around 25kg of pure sunshine. She is a BIG love bug - playful, goofy, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her humans. She has a gentle soul, a waggy tail, and a huge smile that lights up the room.

She’s also a bit of a boofhead in the best possible way: enthusiastic, joyful, and always ready to make you laugh. On lead she’s strong, but with guidance and consistency, she settles beautifully. Jaz is the kind of girl who melts hearts wherever she goes.

🏡 Jaz's Ideal Forever Home:
Jaz will thrive with a family who understands loving boundaries, positive reinforcement, and the importance of teaching good manners. She’s eager to please and responds well to kindness and structure.

While we haven’t seen any separation anxiety or vocalisation while in our care, her new family should allow her time to decompress, feel safe, and settle in before expecting her to be left alone for longer periods - as we recommend for all rescue dogs.

A home that enjoys playtime, cuddles, and celebrating her goofy charm will be her perfect match.

🐾 Jaz's Rescue Story:
Jaz didn’t get the gentle start she deserved. She spent much of her early life chained, without freedom, enrichment, or affection. When she finally got the chance to stretch her legs, she embraced it with her whole heart - running, exploring, and soaking up every bit of freedom.

She was adopted briefly from the pound but returned due to anxiety when left alone (her new owner worked FIFO). This behaviour wasn’t seen in the pound or in our care, but it tells us she needs a family willing to give her time, reassurance, and stability.

Despite everything, Jaz remains super sweet, affectionate, and full of hope. Her resilience is extraordinary. She’s learning that human affection is safe and wonderful - she leans in for love, but she’s still in the early days of figuring out how it all works. With patience, she blossoms.

Her best friend in the pound was Fly, and she carries that same friendly, gentle nature into every new interaction.

She is desexed, vaccinated, and treated for heartworm, ticks, fleas, and intestinal worms, as per our rescue protocol.
