About Smurf
Meet Smurf, a charming senior man who is looking for a human to shower with love and devotion. Weighing in at about 7.8kg, Smurf may be small in size, but his affectionately big heart is guaranteed to brighten even the dullest of days.
This adorable little guy thrives on companionship and would be happiest in a home where his special person is around frequently to give him the attention and cuddles he so adores. While a fellow dog friend is welcome, it's really all about the human connection for Smurf. His unwavering loyalty and need for love make him a delightful companion for someone who can spend quality time with a furry friend.
Smurf is still learning the ropes of using a doggy door, but with a little patience and encouragement, he's sure to get the hang of it. He's also in the process of mastering the art of not lifting his leg indoors, and with gentle guidance, he's bound to make great strides. Regular grooming will keep him looking and feeling his best, so his new family should be ready for some pampering sessions.

Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in adopting through our rescue.
If you are shortlisted, a member of our team will be in touch within 7–10 working days. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will participate in a phone interview to help us assess the suitability of the home for the individual dog. The needs of each dog are our priority, and we will only proceed where we feel there is a strong match.
Successful applicants will have a meet and greet at a mutually convenient time with the foster carer. This will include introductions to all household members and any existing pets, as well as a property/fence check.
If all goes well, the dog may begin a 14-day trial period in the home to ensure the match is the right fit for both the dog and adopter. An adoption form will be completed and the adoption fee paid at this stage (fully refundable within the trial period if the placement is not suitable).
All relevant veterinary and adoption documentation will be provided upon successful completion of the trial period.
