About Franklyn
Franklyn is the kind of cat who looks like he’s lived a few stories - and now he’s ready for a much softer chapter. This handsome blue short-haired boy found himself in the pound after being picked up on the streets, sporting impressive jowls and the unmistakable signs of a life that hadn’t always been easy. But the moment Little Paws Kitten Rescue spotted him at the pound, it was clear he was something special. Since then, he has had a full check-up, a little dental tidy-up, and is now feeling much better - and very ready to settle into the good life.
Despite his tough beginnings (and a few charming battle scars that only add to his character), Franklyn is an absolute sweetheart. He has completely won over his foster carer, wrapping them neatly around his paws with very little effort at all. He leans into pats like he’s been waiting his whole life for them - because, in many ways, he has - and greets his people with genuine enthusiasm that makes it obvious he was always meant to be someone’s well-loved companion.
Franklyn’s purr is as soft as it is constant, switching on the moment he’s near you, like a gentle little engine of contentment. And while he may look like a distinguished gentleman, he does have one particularly endearing quirk, when he drinks water, he fully dunks his chin in the bowl and then wanders off wearing a tiny “water beard,” completely unbothered and very proud of himself.
Franklyn is equal parts resilient and affectionate, with a heart far bigger than his past. He is ready for a home where he can finally relax, be adored, and continue proving that the best cats are often the ones who’ve had a few adventures along the way.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
