About Katseye
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
With her smokey grey coat and sweet soulful eyes, Katseye is a beautiful young kitten with a spirited personality and a wonderfully independent streak. She came in from the streets as an older kitten so she can be a little cautious when faced with new experiences and may be quite vocal while she decides whether something unfamiliar can be trusted—but once she feels comfortable, her playful and affectionate side shines through.
Katseye is not overly keen on being handled yet but she will come and curl up on her human's lap - so long as it's her choice! She's looking for a home that will accept her as she is, beautiful, but like all great artworks, best admired from a distance!
Katseye is obsessed with the other cats in her foster home and gains a lot of confidence from them. Whether she’s sharing a sunny spot, participating in a grooming session, romping around the living room or curled up on the bed together, so another cat in the home is a must. Katseye loves a fun game with a feather wand and is happiest when she can finish an exciting play session by curling up with a feline friend or stretching out on her favourite human’s legs for a cosy evening on the couch.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Katseye is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Katseye is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace and build trust naturally. She isn’t a kitten who particularly enjoys being picked up or handled frequently, so she’ll thrive with people who are happy to let her choose when and how she interacts. Given time and patience, she’ll happily enjoy quiet companionship and be close by while you relax.
A friendly feline companion is a must for Katseye. She truly blossoms with another cat around and feels more confident and secure when she has a furry friend to show her the ropes.
Her ideal home will also give her plenty of space to explore, play and burn off her kitten energy before settling down for a well-earned nap with her favourite feline friend. With patience, companionship and plenty of playtime, Katseye has all the makings of a wonderful little companion.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I play hard and nap hard! I'll thrive in a home that offers plenty of enrichment, playtime and space to explore to keep me active and entertained.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: An adults-only home will suit me best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: The other cats in my foster home are amazing fun! As long as introductions to your resident cats are slow and steady, I'm sure we'll be BFFs (Best Feline Friends) before you know it :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
