About Josie - 4 Month Old American Staffy X
Meet Josie 🌸 Cute, lovable, sweet, cuddly, very playful girl.
Josie is a very sweet 18 week old American staffy puppy. She is building confidence with her foster family and showing her beautiful friendly personality.
She is a typical puppy so she has lots of bursts of pup energy that loves to play with soft toys and absolutely loves people.
Josie is pretty well house trained but is still only a baby and is learning super well. She loves to play with other dogs and other pups of all sizes.
She would be suited to someone who is home more often than not. She needs someone that has time to dedicate to training and socialisation, that way she will grow to be the best doggo she can be.
Josie will benefit from attending puppy preschool to help further her education. We recommend training for all puppies and dogs in care.
Josie would love an active home. Someone who may want a running/walking companion, someone that enjoys the outdoors and would take her out.
Josie is being fostered with a family with other dogs. She is great with them all. We would recommend a home with children over the age of 8 as she gets a bit excited at times and may knock small kids over.
She is an adorable girl and would make a great addition to most homes. Josie will need a large well fenced yard with access to inside to ensure she keeps saf and warm.
Josie will melt alot of hearts and choosing 1 family to adopt her will be very difficult. Unfortunately we cannot clone her. So please be patient while we sort applications which may take some time.
Josie also has sister in foster care so if you may be interested in another pup if you miss out on Josie then please let us know on the application.
Josie’s adoption fee is $800 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Josie is in foster care at Bateau Bay, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
