Lonny

Lonny is a gorgeous young girl with a heap of personality and so much potential.

Lonny came into foster care as a shy pup and has really come out of her shell! She can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but soon after her happy, bubbly personality comes out.

She has been great with all the animals she's met so far (dogs and farm animals). She loves being out and about, exploring and running around with other dogs, and loves car rides.

Lonny equally loves being at home with her people and loves a cuddle.

And she's an absolute guts! Food is definitely the way to this girl's heart, which also makes her very easy to motivate when training!

Water? She'll tolerate baths and rivers... but let's just say she isn't volunteering for a swim! She'd love the beach, although probably more for hooning around on the sand and meeting dogs than actually getting in the ocean.

For such a young dog, she's already picked up the basics really well:

Awesome recall
Good on lead - she picked it up very quickly
Crate trained
Doggy door trained
90% house trained
Really great in the car

We haven't done much advanced training with her yet, but she's bright, food-motivated and keen to learn. With someone who has the time to keep working with her, we know she'd be an incredibly rewarding dog to train.

Lonny would suit a home that wants a dog they can include in their life, continue training and watch grow into an amazing companion. Another dog that she can play with at home would be a bonus, but not necessary if she's matched with an active family.

She's a beautiful, little pup with a whole lot of life ahead of her - now she just needs to find her people. ❤️🐾
