Hi, I'm Banjo and I am a Shar Pei x Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy.
I like to think I'm the kind of puppy who is happy doing a little bit of everything. I'll happily play with my siblings, chew on a soft toy or stick, explore the backyard, then wander over to my humans when I decide it's time for a cuddle.
I'm a pretty easy going little guy and I'm quite happy to entertain myself, which means I'd be just as happy as an only dog as I would be living with another friendly canine companion. I get along really well with both big and small dogs and enjoy having a play, but I'm also perfectly content if I'm left on my own for a little while. My crate training is coming along really nicely too, and I'm learning that it's a safe place to relax.
People are pretty great too. I love meeting new people and I'm always happy to accept a pat or a cuddle. I also enjoy spending time with children. One of my favourite games is chasing the kids around the kitchen table before stopping for some well earned snuggles. I'm still learning not to jump up when I get excited, but I'm a gentle boy and I'm working hard on my manners.
Most of my days are spent outside with the other dogs, enjoying the fresh air and burning off my puppy energy. When I feel like some extra attention, I'll happily wander inside for a cuddle before heading back out again. At night I sleep outside on the deck or in my pen and settle in well.
Like any growing puppy, I'm still learning. I know my name, I'm practising my sit, and I'm getting the hang of my toilet training. I'm a smart boy and, with a little patience and a few tasty treats, I'm sure I'll pick up lots of new things.
The people at the vet thought I was a pretty chilled little fella. Nothing really worried me. As long as there was the promise of a treat afterwards, I was happy!
I haven't lived with cats, but I don't seem too interested in the chickens, ducks and sheep next door. I might stop for a look through the fence, then I'm off to find something more exciting to do.
I have the usual puppy bursts of energy. I wake up ready for breakfast and a good play, then it's time for a nap before doing it all again. Life is all about balance!
My foster family says I'm a bit of a quirky character too. If there's a lap, a leg, or even another dog to sit on, I'll give it a go! Personal space isn't really my thing when cuddles are involved.
My forever family will need secure fencing while I learn my boundaries and continue growing into the best boy I can be.
If you're looking for a happy, relaxed puppy who loves people, enjoys a play when the mood strikes, and is just as happy to curl up for a cuddle afterwards, I think we'd make a pretty great team.

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
