Meet Archie! Archie is a puppy with the body of a small horse and the emotional maturity of... well, a 6-month-old puppy.

At only 6 months old, someone forgot to tell him that puppies are supposed to come in a manageable size! He's already about mid-thigh height and still has plenty of growing to do, so we're expecting this adorable goofball to become a lanky tank on 4 legs!

Archie absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend to grow up with. Having another dog around could be a wonderful outlet for all that puppy energy and silliness.

He could also live with children of any age, provided they have experience with large, boisterous dogs who haven't yet worked out how big they are. Archie may not mean to knock little legs out from underneath someone, but at his current size, an enthusiastic greeting can feel a lot like being hit by a very affectionate freight train.

Archie has lots of puppy behaviours to work through, and will need a family who understands that big puppies need big patience, clear boundaries and plenty of positive training. The good news? Archie does everything with such earnest enthusiasm. He genuinely wants to please, and underneath all that bouncing, mouthing and "OH MY GOSH HI!!!" energy is a very sweet boy who is eager to learn.
