About Xena
Meet Xena, a resilient and enchanting little kitten with an inspiring story. She spent her very first weeks in the backlot of a shop before finding her way to safety with her mum and siblings, and now she's ready to find a loving home. Initially a bit shy, Xena's personality shines through once she grows comfortable and trusts you. She's quite playful, displaying bursts of energy that captivate everyone around her. Watching her play is pure joy as she pounces and frolics like a kitten on a never-ending adventure.
Xena is incredibly loving; when she forms a bond, she becomes a devoted companion. She'll happily sleep on your bed, keeping you company with her gentle purrs. Though she can be timid around larger dogs for now, Xena gets along well with other cats and older children.
One of her favourite pastimes is basking in the sunshine, where she'll curl up contentedly, truly embodying the phrase "a cat's life." If you have a peaceful and nurturing home with a few sunny spots, Xena would fit in beautifully. Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept strictly indoors or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire: We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message to help us understand your home environment and match you with the right feline companion.
Video Tour: We require a video tour of your home to inspect key safety features, including secure screens on windows, doors, and balconies, and to see where your new kitty will settle in!
Meet & Greet: Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home: If your application is approved and the cat has completed their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (adoption and admin fees are payable at this time).
Settling-In Period & Communication: Every adoption includes a 14-day settling-in period. We stay in touch during this time (preferably via WhatsApp) to support your cat's transition into your home.
Adoption Fees & Registration
Kittens: $350
Cats (1–3 Years): $275
Cats (3+ Years): $200
All adoptions carry a mandatory lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the adoption price to ensure your cat is officially registered in accordance with local council requirements.
