Say hello to Buck, a big, burly black and white boy with a soft heart hiding behind his shy exterior. Buck can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but he's been making some wonderful progress with our staff and is slowly learning that humans can be trusted.

This handsome boy just needs plenty of TLC, patience and reassurance from his new family to help him continue building his confidence. He's already showing us that he has so much potential, and we know there is a sweet boy underneath that initial shyness just waiting to come out.

One thing Buck has no trouble showing us is just how much he loves his treats! 😻 Treats are definitely the way to his heart and are a great way for his new family to build positive associations and start earning his trust.

Buck would be best suited to a quiet, peaceful home without small children, where he can settle in without the noise and hustle of a busy household. His new family will need to give him time to adjust and allow him to build trust at his own pace, without expecting too much too soon.

There is something incredibly rewarding about earning the trust of a shy cat, and we know those little moments when Buck starts seeking out attention and affection will be extra special.
