Rocky

Say hello to Rocky, a 7-year-old American Staffy who firmly believes that life is better when it involves people, food and toys - preferably all three at once!

Rocky is a playful, people-focused boy who loves a good game of fetch and will happily entertain himself with his favourite toys, especially when there's a little toy-shaking involved. He's also a clever cookie who already knows some basic manners including sit, drop, shake and wait. With plenty of positive reinforcement (and perhaps a few tasty snacks), Rocky is ready to keep building on his skills.

Rocky will benefit from a family who can continue helping him build his confidence when being handled, while giving him the time and encouragement he needs to feel comfortable and secure.

His ideal home will be Staffy or large-breed experienced, with no children. Rocky doesn't need hours of exercise every day, but he will thrive with moderate daily walks, playtime and plenty of opportunities to keep his clever brain busy.

Rocky hasn't been tested with cats, and given that he enjoys chasing birds, we'd recommend caution and careful introductions around smaller animals. Rocky is best suited to the only-dog life and is looking for a home where he is centre of attention.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, food-motivated and playful companion who will happily join you for a game of fetch before settling in for some quality time with his favourite people, Rocky could be your guy!
Just remember: come prepared to make friends... and maybe bring snacks. Rocky has standards.
