Meet Neru, an affectionate and playful girl!

Neru is the sweetest one year old cat looking for her forever home. She was surrendered into our care with her kittens when her previous owner could no longer care for her, and so far has found the shelter experience a little overwhelming - she may take some time to warm up to her new home, but once she's comfortable she is a playful, energetic, loving girl.

After being a wonderful mum to her kittens until they were old enough to find their own forever families, she's now ready to be the center of attention again! Neru would be perfectly happy to be the only cat in the house, or she could also go to a home with a four-legged sibling. She's never lived with other animals before, but with a slow introduction, she would likely adjust well to having a playmate.

Neru lived with children in her previous home, and was loving and playful with them. She would be a great fit for a home with cat-savvy kids of any age.
