Siu Mai

Siu Mai is a sweet little dumpling with plenty of love, energy, and a very serious appreciation for snacks.

During his time in foster care, Siu Mai showed just how affectionate he can be. He loves a gentle pat on the forehead and absolutely melts for a good chin scratch. Attention is always welcome, and once he's comfortable with you, his sweet little personality really comes to life.

Of course, Siu Mai is still a kitten, so cuddles are only part of the agenda. Once he feels at home, he loves racing around the house and letting out all that young kitten energy. He can occasionally get a little carried away during exciting interactions and give a gentle playful nibble, so a quick break or a toy to redirect his attention will help him settle again. And if you really want to win him over, snacks are definitely the way to go. Purée treats and wet food are particular favourites!

At almost 5 months old, Siu Mai has so much growing, playing, and loving still ahead of him. If you're looking for an affectionate little character who'll happily enjoy chin scratches before zooming off on his next adventure, he could be your boy.

We encourage you to come and meet Siu Mai at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. This sweet little dumpling is ready to find a family to call his own.
