About Duchess
Duchess and her siblings were born in the wild to a stray Mum, where they spent the first 3.5 weeks of their life until someone found them. 7 puppies and their Mum, Disney, then entered foster care where they have thrived with plenty of love, food, warm cosy beds and an endless amount of cuddles. They're now ready to leave Mum and head off on their next big adventure.
Duchess has been raised with 4 young children and loves all the attention. She's very outgoing and doesn't mind being the boss of everyone. She's super playful and loves playing with her siblings and toys, she's also a brave adventurer and will go off exploring with her kiddy friends or mum. Like all puppies, she will truely shine with a dedicated family who is committed to training her with lots of positive reinforcements. Duchess travels well in the car and likes to go on outings where she can be carried around and get some more exposure to the outside world in a safe way. Toilet training is under way but she still has a while to go before she perfects it. In a smaller area she will choose the puppy puds over her bedding and blankets, but if she has too much freedom she can't make it back to the right spot in time. They've had access to a crate to sleep in and voluntary choose to sleep in there (with the door open) so they have a good association with the crate already should you choose to continue crate training.
We know everyone likes to know what breeds make up their new dog, but we really can't say! These guys are a real Pilbara Special with so many wonderful breeds mixed throughout the generations. Mum is a medium sized mixed breed and her puppies have all taken on different sizes. These Pilbara specials aren't for anyone that specifically wants a small dog, they're a lucky dip and you'll need to be ok with a big variance on size.
